pets
Well behaved pets are welcome!
Dogs must be kept on their leads
at all times on the site, and you may use a 'screw-in' tethering
point if you wish.
Please don't let your pet annoy anyone else and of course please be
sure to clean up after him (or her!)

paddock walk
You can exercise your dog in the paddock behind
Highfield 2.There'a little mown path to follow round -
pop
through the gate between pitches 2 and 3.
It's only about 400 metres down to
Tralee Beach from the CL, so
perfect for a short stroll, and you can walk down to the road
through the gate via the woodland.
please note :
pets must never be left unattended
at any time on the site
groundsheets and awnings
- use of groundsheets - strictly wide mesh breathable type only allowed
We prefer if visitors do not cover grass with ground sheets;
we don't mind a small open weave mat under your doorstep, or a
cover over gravel on Highfield 1 Certificated Location if you wish.
This damage was caused in about a week by a ground
sheet of the non-breathable type and took a couple of months
to repair and regrow!
We prefer if you site your awning over the gravel on Highfield 1 Certificated Location. Remember to bring steel rock pins if you want to use an awning on Highfield 2, there are hard packed pebbles under the grass!

grey water, refuse and re-cycling
Grey water can be safely poured away under trees. Keep an eye on your grey water container and please do not allow it to overfill and spill over.
Please place all your refuse in bags before disposal into our bins - there's a separate bin for waste paper only.
There are glass recycling bins in the car park opposite Benderloch village shop and the supermarket car parks in Oban have numerous types of recycling collection bins.
CCEP
The
chemical emptying point (CCEP) is situated behind a screen in a
corner of the garden behind the house.
It's a flushing system with hose pipe for rinsing.
Please remember to close the lid and switch off the tap when
you've finished!
Calor gas
Popular sizes of Calor LPG butane and propane gas cylinders are available for sale
on site on a bottle exchange basis.

Vehicle LPG is available locally at Tralee Bay
Holidays
about 500 metres from our main gate.
