pets

well behaved perts are welcome!Well behaved pets are welcome! Dogs must be kept on their leads at all times on the site, and you may use a 'screw-in' tethering point if you wish.

Please don't let your pet annoy anyone else and of course please be sure to clean up after him (or her!)

walk your dog in the paddock behind Nhighfield 2

You can exercise your dog in the paddock behind Highfield 2 - pop through the gate by pitch 5.  There's a short mown path to follow round.

Tralee Beach is 400 metres from the main site gateIt's only about 400 metres down to Tralee Beach from the CL, so perfect for a short stroll, and you can walk down to the road through the gate via the woodland.

please note : pets must never be left unattended at any time on the site

groundsheets and awnings

We prefer if our visitors do not cover our grass with ground sheets; we don't mind an open weave mat under your doorstep however or a small covering over gravel if you wish.

If you use a groundsheet, we allow strictly wide mesh breathable type only.

non breathable groundsheet has damaged the grass
Unfortunately this sort of damage to our grass caused by a ground sheet of the non-breathable type takes at least a couple of months to repair and regrow!

Remember to bring steel rock pins if you want to use an awning on Highfield 2, there are hard packed pebbles under the grass! It's all sand under Highfield 1, thanks to its situation on a raised beach area.

grey water, refuse and re-cycling

Grey water can be safely poured away under trees. Keep an eye on your grey water container and please do not allow it to overfill and spill over.

Please place all your refuse in bags before disposal into our bins - there's a separate bin for waste paper.

Glass recycling bins can be found in the car park opposite Benderloch village shop and the supermarket car parks in Oban have numerous types of recycling collection bins.

CCEP

CCEPThe chemical emptying point (CCEP) is situated behind a screen in a corner of the garden behind the house.

It is a flushing system with hose pipe for rinsing.

Pleas remember to close the lid and switch off the tap when you've finished!

Calor gas  Calor Gas

Popular sizes of Calor LPG butane and propane gas cylinders are available for sale on site on a bottle exchange basis.

Vehicle LPG is available locally at Tralee Bay Holidays, about 500 metres from our main gate.

arrive and depart

Where possible, please aim to arrive after 3pm on the date of your arrival and to vacate your pitch by 11am on the day of your departure. This gives us time to mow the grass and tidy up for the next visitors.
